BURNING – When lighting the first time, allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container to create good burning memory, prevent tunneling, and help with proper burning the next time. Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time. Always leave at least 10 cm between burning candles.

TRIM THE WICK – For optimal burning, trim the wick to 5-8mm before re-lighting a candle to prolong the life of the candle, minimize soot, and remove mushrooming of carbon on the wick.

EXTINGUISHING – Dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish the flame, be sure to straighten and center the wick afterward, or use a candle snuffer instead of blowing the candle out to decrease smoke and ensure your candle continues to burn properly the next time you light it.

STORAGE – To prolong the life of the candle wax and essential oils used for scent – store a candle covered in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and intense heat.

SAFETY – Place the candle on a protected, heat-resistant surface. Never leave burning candles unattended. Never move or handle the candle while burning. Keep away from children and pets, flammable objects and drafts. Discontinue use when less than 1cm of wax remains from the bottom of the container. Be sure to extinguish the candle before sleep.
